The dynamic PR people of Fiat Chrysler Automobiles recently organized a delightful pop up Christmas lunch on the second floor of their magnificent flagship showroom at Motor Villlage Delta . Not only to celebrate a successful year, but also to present interesting news and to take a preview at the Brussels Motor Show, which will open its doors next month.

A Chrismas dream for every Alfa enthusiast: a gleaming 4C under the Christmas tree...
There will be a few quite interesting highlights like the premiere of the new Fiat Tipo which has already won some very prestigious awards, of which more in a separate report where we tell you also more about this car.
But that is not all. There is also the new Fiat 124 Spider, which looks truly splendid judging from the photos we have seen so far.
In the meantime, at the Christmas lunch we had a pleasant and interesting discussion with Mr. Henri Wees, of the Club Quadrifoglio Belgio.

Of course this was a splendid occasion to bring back sweet memories of our first, fast long distance drive in the Alfa 1600 Giulia Super, driving it from Brussels to the Monza Grand Prix. We vividly remember how we sped in fifth gear at speeds between 160-170 km/h for hours on end over the German Autobahnen, with the Alfa taking all this beautifully in its stride.
The space on the 2nd floor of the flagship showroom where the lunch was held is ornated with some very scenic photos of historic Alfas in breathtaking settings, and will also serve as a meeting/event/reception area for dealer or (historic) club activities in the future.
It was fittingly inaugurated with a delicious Christmas lunch where one could enjoy many Italian specialties. On one of the walls of this room, behind the opulent Chistmas trees and the gleaming red Alfa 4C, we noticed a big photo of the new Alfa museum in Arese, certainly worth a visit next year!
Looking forward to the Brussels Motor Show...
Fiat Chrysler Automobiles has quite some novelties in store for the forthcoming show. First of all, there will be the new Tipo, and also the new Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio, both celebrating their Belgian premiere.
Abarth will present its Elaborabile GT, and Jeep will steal the limelight with a special “Night Eagle” series.
More about all this is special reports soon…
