Our surprise and joy knew no bounds recently when we were invited to take a ride with one of the absolute gems of the D’Ieteren Collection through Brussels dense city traffic at the Avenue Louise for a renewed photo session of this truly beautiful classic per-war car.

Audi PR-Manager Philippe Casse drove us to the very places where in the last century the horse-drawn carriages and landaulettes and classic bodyworks made by D’Ieteren on cars like Hispano Suizas were photographed for posterity.

In the park, the Audi met with the Ford GT 40 of one of the participants of the Mille Virages Rally, which had just ended...
