Since the launch of the legendary 205 GTI, Peugeot has won the hearts of not less than 800.000 enthusiasts, with an iconic range of sporting models: the 309 GTi, 405 Mi16, 306 S16, 208 GTi, RCZ R.
This magnificent tradition now continues with another ultra sporting hot hatch: the 308 GTi by Peugeot Sport.
Interesting enough to present you the car here in a special report…awaiting a test drive!

There will of course be more than enough power under the hood: what to think of the 1,6 litre THP S&S engine which will be available in two power versions: 182 kW (250 hp) and 200 kW (270 hp).
The engine responds of course to the Euro 6 norm and emits merely 139 g/km of CO2, for an average consumption of 6 litres/100 km. Power to weight ratio is very impressive with only 4,46 kg per hp; This means performance: 0 to 100 is done in just 6 seconds, and a standing kilomitre sprint is absolved in 25,3 seconds.
The 308 GTi 270 is equipped with a Torsen® limited slip differential and is shod with 19 inch Carbone light alloy wheels and Michelin Super Sport tyres. The car has 380 mm front disks with red painted brake callipers from Peugeot Sport, the rear disks having a diameter of 268 mm.
The 308GTi 250 is only a shade slower with a power to weight ratio of 4,82 kg/HP, and hurtles from 0 to 100 in only 6,2 seconds.
The style of this sporting 308 will please the sporting crowd with revised front and rear treatment and a lowered suspension by 11 mm. The GTi has also a pur sang cabin, and 6 colour schemes to underline the thoroughbred character of the car. What to think of Ultimate Red, Magnetic Blue, Perla Nera Black, Artense Grey, Nacré White and Hurricane Grey…
The suspension can be individually set by the driver. Add to all this an engine with a very sporting sound, the iconic Peugeot i-cockpit, the optional Driver Sport Pack, the bucket seats, and you can understand that this 308 GTi by Peugeot Sport will steal the hearts of many…
In the meantime, we just let you enjoy the photos here!
